Pigreco Company was founded in spring 2020 by two female circus artists who share the desire to create, practice and perform together. The company is based in Milan, Italy.

Laura Colonna

Juggler, actress and performer, born in Milan. She trains in physical theater with Mario Barzaghi of Teatro dell’Albero in Milan and she immediately cultivates her passion for circus arts, attracted by that blurred line separating impossible and reality.

After a seven-year journey with Gurdjieff’s dances, she approaches contemporary dance with Nun Art in Barcelona and Ariella Vidach in Milan.

From 2010 to 2017 she works in the company Limen Teatro, gaining a lot of experience especially in the field of street theater.

Doreen Grossmann

Circus artist with lots of love for juggling, dance and movement. Born in East Germany, Doreen moves to Berlin in 2003, where she develops her technique of juggling and dance following numerous seminars led by exceptional artists of the field.

In 2007 she starts working as a regular performer with Gandini Juggling, an internationally renowned artistic dance and juggling company based in London, UK.

With the Gandinis she gets involved in the creation and circulation of numerous shows, performing all around the world. Notable performances include the opening show of the Paralympic Games at the Olympic stadium in London in 2012 and the autumn season at the Metropolitan Opera in New York with Akhnaten in 2019.

In 2019 she moves to Milan and creates Pigreco Company.
